Manor Cottage

Lincoln Clay Pantiles

Aesthetically pleasing and British-made. The Lincoln Pantile brings traditional elegance to Manor Cottage.

All in the detail

Manor Cottage is situated in the village of Letwell, a conservation area. Therefore, property renovations must be done with sensitivity to preserve the history and character of the area.

This roofing project demanded a product that would be aesthetically sensitive to its surroundings. The answer was Marley’s new Lincoln Clay Pantile. The warmth of the rustic red version of this tile blended perfectly. It delivered the traditional appearance the customer wanted and, of course, the robustness you would expect from a Marley product.

Conservation compliance

The installation, covering an area of 100m2, was carried out by John Berry of BNF Building with materials supplied by Myers Building Supplies.

“Manor Cottage is in the village of Letwell, which is a conservation village,” Explained John. “That meant we had to use a clay product, so the roof was in keeping with the rest of the properties in the village.
