Built from a choice of many different parts, our roof system enables you to create bespoke specifications to match the specific needs of your roof.

All of our components are fully compatible with each other and have been tested to ensure full integration and maximum performance. So take the hassle out of roofing and design a beautiful high-performance Marley roof.

1.Base layers

As you know, the foundations of the roof are key. Get that right and the rest will follow.

Our market leading JB Red roofing battens are the only machine-graded battens on the market, guaranteeing strength and durability. Depending on how you intend to ventilate, we have a choice of BS 5534-compliant, high-performance vapour-permeable or non-breathable underlays.

In addition, our new Roof Defence fire barrier helps to prevent the spread of fire between adjoining properties. This proven and tested product, delivers an impressive 60-minute fire rating and allows for specifiers to add an additional layer of safety to any roofing project, keeping both people and properties protected.

2. Roof coverings

Our extensive range of clay and concrete roof tiles - and timber shingles and shakes – mean we have a style and finish to suit every property design. From contemporary new builds to heritage restoration projects.

With roof tile options to suit every sector, pitch, geographical location and aesthetic requirement, our range of roof coverings also extends to our fully integrated solar panels, meaning all roofing projects can now embrace the essential requirement of renewable energy generation.

3. Roofing accessories

Our dry fix systems are designed to work in complete unison with the base layer - and provide mortar-free, fast, secure, and durable detailing and ventilation options.

This is relevant for all major pitched roofing constructions, covering a very wide range of tiles – and will reduce niggling issues and potential headaches.
